Before this

In this section, you'll find a short resume of some old projects I really enjoyed being part of, and where I learnt a lot of things. Most of them belong to the field of culture or medias.

2007 / I worked for about 8 months at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, one of the most important contemporary art place in France. Being the "video guy" there, I was helping the artists with technical issues, but also created animated content for the screens of the museum in collaboration with the graphic designer. I even shot some footage for the fashion show of Christian Lacroix.

2007 / Floating territories: a great European cultural project organized by Evens Foundation. A journey by boat between Istanbul, Athens and Venice, connecting the art biennals of these 3 cities. Debates, art projects, conferences were organized on and off the boat, with some great artists and intellectuals like Yona Friedman, Abdelwahab Meddeb, Herman Düne among others. I was commissioned to shoot a documentary about this project.

2007 / Monumenta 2007 was the biggest monographic art exhibition ever organized in France. Taking place at Le Grand Palais in Paris, the first edition of this impressively large-scale project was dedicated to the art of the German painter and sculptor Anselm Kiefer. I shot many videos and interviews with art critics, theoreticians, intellectuals speaking about Kiefer's work, shown as a part of the exhibition. I also shot a documentary about the whole process of the project, including a dance ballet from the great American choreographer Carolyn Carlson.

2008 / I happened to be on the other side of the camera for this project: Samsung asked me to be part of their new advertising campaign for their LED TV's, involving 3 young european artists (the graphics you can see in the ad were "inspired" by our work). Don't even try to make me wear white pants and turquoise shirts again.

2009 / At the beginning of 2009, I designed the on-stage visuals for a play called Femmes de Paroles, during a 3-months residency at the Théâtre Antoine Vitez near Paris, where the play was created. A great experience (both artistic and human) of a collaboration between images, body and words.
